The streets in the city-centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz are set to live and breathe the world of running once more with the forthcoming 16th EDP Vitoria-Gasteiz Martín Fiz Marathon.
Thousands of athletes and skaters are expected to flock to the Alavés capital to enjoy a unique day which celebrates this popular sport with a true party atmosphere. It is a firm fixture in the competition diary of Spain’s national athletes with runners representing provinces from all over the country.
This annual event includes 6 sports competitions in total, with 4 running races and 2 skating races all held on the same day.
A total of 6 sports events, 4 running races and 2 skates races on the same day, make this event an annual meeting in the city.
A competition at the highest level and sponsored by some of the Vitorians from the elite of world athletics, Martín Fiz.
The best world long-distance athletes have taken part in this great event. A popular 10 km race is held at the same time as well as the Txiki Marathon, a children´s 1 km race, with companion.
